ArtBlocks is a platform that supplies pseudo random data in the form of hash strings to generative/digital artists/creatives for the generation of unique, deterministic outputs. The project comes from a desire to create an actual use case for blockchain technology coupled with a curiosity in interactivity for generative works. Art Blocks artists are provided with an Art Node with various settings for controlling how the connected project receives hashes, and patrons can send funds to the Art Node to generate a 100% unique “edition” of the artist’s connected work.
